The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.

It is on the east side of Englewood,
just one block past the Wal-Mart.
You can take Hwy. 41, Cornelius or Biscayne to 776 and go west to San Casa Rd. Turn left, we are about a mile down the road on the left, in the Health Department at the West Charlotte County Annex, across from the new regional park. *Please note that the WIC Office is closed the last day of each month. Eligibility is by appointment only, for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or have just had a baby and their children up to the age of 5 years old. There is a family income limit, but working families may qualify.
